In order to bring the first episode of “On Hold” to life, I came up with a storyboard. With the help of a few friends who agreed to act, we were able to shoot the raw footage in one night. The main challenge was the limited equipment we had, so we decided to go for a dark aesthetic to reduce the amount of lighting needed. After filming, I used DaVinci Resolve to edit the teaser. Since we didn’t have a proper microphone, I decided to use music to convey the emotions of the protagonist.
